Spicy Sausage Corn Chowder

12 oz spicy chicken sausage
1 1/2 c unsweetened almond milk
1 cup chicken stock
1/2 can creamed corn
2 c frozen corn
1 whole onion diced

1/2 green pepper- diced
2 stalks celery diced
1/2 c sliced scallions
Salt and pepper to taste
A dash or two of garlic powder

In a large stock pot place the sausage, onions, green pepper and celery. Over medium to medium high heat cook until onions are tender and sausage is cooked. Add creamed corn and frozen corn. Stir and cook for 2 minutes. Lower heat to medium low. Add chicken stock and unsweetened almond milk and garlic powder. Simmer over medium low heat for 10-15 minutes. Turn off heat, add scallions and salt and pepper to taste. Serves 4
